- tolle Atmosphaere
- "homely" und "cozy" Touch
- wunderbare Gastgeber
- traumhaftes Fruehstueck
- Abendessen, die so lecker waren, dass ich am liebsten jeden Abend vorbeikommen wuerde
- ein gemuetlicher Platz am Pool oder auf der Terrasse mit unvergleichbarem Blick auf Meer und Sonenuntergang
- ein Bett, aus dem man sich kaum wieder erheben moechte
Alles in allem ein "Home away from home", das wir gerne weiterempfehlen und zu dem wir auch gerne zurueckkehren

meine gruppe und ich sind gerade von einem 7-tägigen nordic-walking-aufenthalt von madeira zurückgekommen. als absolutes highlight haben wir das summerplace erlebt.
ein service der seinesgleichen sucht, eine lage die abseits der touristencentren ruhe garantiert, den leisen comfort der nichts anderes als luxus bedeutet - einfach klasse! wer sinn für ästhetik hat und individualität der masse vorzieht, sollte sich dieses kleinod nicht entgehen lassen! Unser Aufenthalt in Summerplace war entspannend und wunderschön. Das ruhig gelegene Guesthouse mit seinen 5 Zimmern bietet eine herrliche Terasse mit Ausblicken über die nahegelegenen Wälder und den Atlantik, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, kulinarische Köstlichkeiten und - last but not least - charmante, hilfsbereite und unkomplizierte Gastgeber. |

Posted at Sunday, 14 September 2008 12:32 Loin de l'agitation de Funchal, nous avons découvert cette chambre d'hote dans laquelle nous avons séjourné pendant 2 magnifiques semaines.
Son emplacement fait de cet endroit un véritable petit paradis; en effet, la maison, située sur la cote ouest de l'île, se trouve non loin des premières forêts. De plus, vous bénéficierez d'une vue magnifique sur l'océan qui s'étend jusqu'à l'horizon et vous pourrez ainsi la contempler de la piscine.
Outre l'esprit très cosy de la maison qui regorge de souvenirs de multiples voyages, vous apprécierez la gentillesse, la bonne humeur et le dévouement des propriétaires.
Ils vous offriront en effet des petits déjeuners variés et très copieux. De plus, il vous sera possible de savourer de délicieux plats tous aussi bons qu'inventifs.
On vous conseille de vous reporter au site web de la chambre d'hote qui est très fidèle à l'ambiance que vous y retrouverez.
Un endroit exceptionnel qu'il a été difficile de quitter

Such a peaceful surrounding. I was there 8 days and stress just disappears. This is in the center of the Levada walks. Yet still a close drive to the best local restaurants. But if you prefer to go local then there are 4 local authentic bars within easy walking distance. The owners are outstanding and leave no details to make you home undone.
