Our 2 self-catering holiday cottages are completely independent from the Guesthouse. They are situated in the coastal town of Jardim do Mar - Madeira island. Please note they do not form part of the Summerplace Guesthouse property, and do not share the facilities offered by the Guesthouse.
The most charming village in MadeiraJardim do Mar is, without a doubt, the most charming and tranquil village in the whole of Madeira. Also, the micro-climate is the warmest and sunniest. The village is car-free so you can wander at your leisure through narrow cobblestoned "traversas" and streets, admiring a proliferation of flowers and trees along the way. Everywhere you will be calmed by the flowing waters of the local "levadas" (mini-canals) as they wind through the village to the open sea. The village has a couple of restaurants specialising in local cuisine and a mini-market for your convenience.

This superbly designed and newly-built architect's cottage is situated in Jardim do Mar on millionaire's row at the cliff edge overlooking the promenade and sea. You can't get any closer to the water! The views from the interior and outdoor patio are fantastic.

The cottage is ideal for discerning couples wishing to either rekindle their relationships, couples on honeymoon, or to just get away from the hustle and bustle of life to enjoy tranquil seaviews and the breathtaking natural surroundings of Madeira. The cottage has been cleverly designed to ensure maximum privacy and to take full advantage of the wonderful sea views. It is situated on two levels. Unlike other holiday homes in the village, there are no nosey neighbours or landlords breathing down your neck! It is designer living at its best. The owner has spared no expense in the furnishings and fittings. The kitchen appliances are a chef's dream!

Set slightly back from the cliff-edge in Jardim do Mar, this cosy cottage has great sea views and a very quaint perfume garden.
Quaint and Cosy CottageThe cottage is ideal for couples or friends looking for something special and quirky. It comes fully equipped and has two bedrooms (one double and one single) and two bathrooms all on ground level. The verandah allows for a peaceful and shady retreat to observe the sea and brilliant stars at night.

DEPOSIT
Summerplace Guesthouse and Self-Catering Cottages require a deposit of €100 to confirm your reservation. The full reservation fee must be paid upon arrival.
CHILDREN POLICY
No children under 16 years.

CANCELLATION POLICY
• Cancellation Policy Summerplace Guesthouse:
100% of the deposit will be charged if the booking is cancelled less than 15 days prior to arrival.
• Cancellation Policy Self- Catering Cottages:
The full deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is within 30 days prior to the arrival date. 100% of the full accommodation fee will be charged if the cancellation is made 29 days or later prior to the arrival date.
• Breakages and Losses - Self- Catering Cottages:
• Breakages and losses will be charged at replacement value
